Interim is a week long break from the classroom learning environment, where students get to learn about something which they find interesting in a way that can't be accomplished in a traditional setting. This program has been a part of Linworth since 1985. Originally, the program was called "Creative Interim" which was different than the interim we have now because instead of the students leaving the school to learn different things, the school brought the different trades to the students. At the beginning, it was an artistic type of experience, but now things have changed. Students now travel, sometimes hundreds of miles, to find new knowledge and gain experience. Also, Interims are not a set group of trades. Students may choose anything they wish to do as long as they are learning something not taught in a normal classroom or are learning in a way other than a normal classroom would allow. Staff and parental permission are necessary for all Interims.

Please be patient as these images load.
